We are very proud to be a local employer and we tend to train our employees from scratch. We take on a number of apprentices every year and can confidently offer job stability and the opportunity for progression within the company.

We also have a number of skilled roles that we are continually looking to employ for at SACO in order to meet the ever-growing, high demand of our customers. These include Toolmakers, Press Operators, CNC Millers, Lathe Programmers/ Machinist’s, Order Planning Executives and Customer Service Executives.

APPRENTICESHIPS

Not just an apprenticeship… a career

Each year we offer up to 6 fully accredited, 4-year apprenticeships. Full training is given in-house to help apprentices develop an understanding of manufacturing processes and build on a range of technical skills

Apprentices have the chance to work with highly skilled Toolmakers and Maintenance Engineers in a modern working environment. They will receive expert training and guidance with the opportunity for continual advancement and progression within the company.

With a starting rate of £6/hour and the potential to earn up to £40,000 per year when fully skilled, our apprenticeship scheme proves very popular so get in touch if you're interested.
